It’s made by heating rice kernels under high pressure in the presence of steam, to form puffed grains. It is white in colour, light in weight and crispy in texture. Commonly used in Indian Snacks (such as bhel puri) and breakfast cereals.

• Mumra can be either deep fried or roasted with spices and salt
• Used to make up many other Indian snacks like bhel puri and chidva snack.
